These are mine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main Goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete my first novel, Love And Distraction, and enter it into Queensland Writer\u2019s Centre <a href=\"https:\/\/queenslandwriters.org.au\/programs\">Publishable competition<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete my second novel, The Same As You, by the end of the year, to the standard where I could enter it into a competition if I chose to in the following year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mini Goals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do one pitch or query letter to a publisher or agent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write 10 poems and post them (on blog and\/or Instagram)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write one short story of thousand words or more<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read a Romantasy book<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And generally keep inspired and keep writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s see how it all goes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s that time of year again, when every middle aged male romance writer\u2019s thoughts turn to setting writing goals for the upcoming year.
