I was inspired by Sarah Todman’s <\/a>wonderful Instagram poetry this week to have a go creating my own Insta-poem – and here it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho\u2019s your favourite daughter?\u201d
\u201cThe dog,\u201d I say,
Sitting on her bed,
With a hundred soft toys.
Her life, 
In plush.

\u201cWho\u2019s your favourite daughter?\u201d
\u201cThe dog,\u201d I say,
Driving in the car,
Sad-girl Indie. 
Her songs,
Not mine.

\u201cWho\u2019s your favourite daughter?\u201d
\u201cThe dog,\u201d I say,
Walking by the water,
Prodding her shoulder.
She squeals,
I laugh.<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
I recommend Sarah’s Instagram account <\/a>for heaps more great poetry. I met her recently at Queensland State Library – lovely woman, lovely poems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
